Greg Eaton

Greg Eaton brings a trial lawyer’s experience and perspective to his work as a mediator.With 26 years of jury trials in Vermont and New Hampshire, Greg has the skills and insight needed to help parties resolve all types of disputes.   Clients and counsel appreciate the compassion, judgment and persistence Greg brings to each mediation.  Greg is committed to supporting clients in a process where they take control of their disputes and work to resolve them.

In his long career as a litigator, Greg worked for both plaintiffs and defendants handling a wide variety of cases, including personal injury, insurance coverage, property disputes, environmental, employment and business litigation matters.  Greg is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, was named Lawyer of Year for personal injury litigation-defendants by Best Lawyers of America, and holds an AV (Preeminent) rating from Martindale-Hubbell.  He is also a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.

Greg lives in Newbury, Vermont with his wife, Debbie, a public school teacher.  He has two grown children.   He has served for over twenty years on the Board of Trustees of the Tenney Memorial Library in Newbury.
